Search Terms
When a visitor enters a name, location, or other search detail into a sponsored search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider operating the tool. Rio Grande County Inmate Population does not store those search terms on its own server.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to respond and handle the request. It is not shared outside the organization except when a valid legal requirement makes disclosure necessary.
Information Collected Automatically

The site links to sheriff pages, court pages, CDOC, BOP, ICE ODLS, VINELink Colorado, and other public-record or search resources. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination website's own privacy policy and terms control its collection and use of information.
Requests made directly to Colorado government agencies may also be handled under their own rules, including the Colorado Open Records Act and the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act when those laws apply. Advertising partners may use their own systems to recognize activity across different websites.

Personal information is not sold as a standalone list. It may be disclosed or processed by the following parties when needed:
- Search partners that operate sponsored search tools.
